Basically Six24.com
is like a Black Blog directory/MySpace. I'm not sure how I ever was
became listed on their site, but I thankfully am. If you notice, I
sport their directory button at the bottom of my page.
In addition to centralizing Blog Blogs, they also provide you with
an opportunity to create profiles and network with other like-minded
Black folks.
Today (February23rd, 2006), I see that "On the Verge..." was featured as a "Notable Blog" Holla!
In exchange, I want to thank them for keeping up with a Brotha. I also want to inform the "Verge" readers of this virtuous resource.
"I guess I like to think that my site stimulates thought and attracts mindful readers. For that I thank all of you who take time out at work and home to keep the discussion going. Special shout out to EmergingPhoenix, SatisfiedSistah, and Miss A. (They got me going). I also wanna acknowledge Sup, Tam, P, and Furious for adding to the fire. I especially want to thank God for being a par tof my life. All thngs are possible through Him/Her. This message is kind of sandwiched between Octavia Butler Tupac, and the Dre messages.
This is absolutely spectacular. Often times on a blogsite, there is content that is frivolous, foolishness, and everything in between - yet they are still deserving to be here, so that we can continue to exercise our freedom of expression.
With that said, one in a while, you come across a blog that is worth reading, that hits the spot comparable to a good meal (vegan for you). It's fulfilling, invigorating, and full of soul. You, my dear, have such a blog.
Congratulations. You deserve it. This site is worthy of it.
